Home scenes enables you to simply add prestashop's scenes to the home page of your shop by using the home category in the admin menu.

When creating or editing a scene in the usual menu (backoffice > catalog > scenes) you can now add it to the "home" category - When the module is installed and hooked on hook_home the scene will be displayed on the homepage.
The module enables you to simply and quicly allow the scenes on your home page.
