Prestashop Module JC Account Group

JCAccountGroup module allow your customers to create an account directly into a particular group and moderate the new registrations automaticaly or manualy  for each group.

 

JC Account Group Main Features

• customer can select his group
• administrator can receive mail on each new customer
• administrator can moderate new customers (activate or not)
• administrator can activate new pending customers from email or from a custom page in the backoffice

JCAccountGroup module allow your customers to create an account directly into a particular group.

In fact, if your site uses the concept of user group (professionals, resellers, students, ...), you no longer have to create the account manually, or worse to let the customer place an order with the wrong prices, before changing its group.

For each group, you can choose whether or not it is enabled by default.

If it is activated directly, then the process is the normal process of prestashop (no mail sent to the client, against the administrator may receive an email ).

If you need to verify the information before deciding whether to activate the account or not, when a mail is sent to the customer following the creation of the account (a message also appears on the screen). In this email, you can insert a message (customizable for each group) to explain the possible things to do (send a copy of a professional card, student card, ...).

At the same time, you receive an email telling you that a new account has been created and is awaiting moderation. A full summary of the account (address included) is part of the email.

Links let you activate directly the account, or visit the page dedicated to awaitings accounts validation.

This page show the list of accounts pending validation. For each account, full details of the account is displayed, and a set of buttons allow you to validate or refuse the account, to see the administration page of the account, to contact the person via email.

If you activate a customer account, a confirmation email is sent to the customer indicating that he can now order on your site.

This module is not compatible with the One Page Checkout but only with the standard method.
