Prestashop Module Product owner

Salesmen can edit only products which they own (which they created). After enabling this module, you can define user group which should be restricted in viewing products in admin interface. Predefined value is "Salesman". Users in this group (if they have appropriate permissions) can view in admin interface only products which they created. Module is very easy to install (no need for additional setting).


INSTALL Backup your database + modules + uploaded files (just in case)!!!

1. Download the module productowners.
2. Unzip module and upload it on server (both directories - modules and override).
3. Activate module in admin interface. You can find it under "Administration" tab.

Now you should be good to go. If you have different usergroups as in default installation - you can change predefined Salesman profile for another user group according your needs. Don't forget to setup right permissions for shop users (if user doesn't have permissions for viewing / deleting products - they are not going to see any products).


COMPATIBILITY Module was tested on versions 1.4.4.x For untested versions of Prestashop, there could be some issues.
