This module for PrestaShop allows you to update the sitemap.xml file as soon as its display is requested.
According to the Google "Help for webmasters": "Sending us a sitemap allows you to notify us of your pages that we could not detect otherwise. In summary, an XML sitemap (called currently sitemap) is a list of pages on your website. Creating and sending a sitemap allows you to make sure that Google knows all the pages of your site, including those that may not be detected by the Google standard process of exploring."
