Prestashop Module Review

Module allows users to rank your products on a scale of 1-5 stars and write reviews related to the product for other users to read.






Review Main Features

Back office:

  • Manage reviews (activate; deactivate; edit title; edit comment; delete;) 
  • Manage rating types [features, that product will be rated by stars] (create; edit; activate; deactivate; delete) 
  • Indicate whether admin approval is required for reviews 
  • Indicate whether reviews can be posted by everyone or only registered customers or only by customers, who bought that product 
  • Set numbers of reviews allowed from same computer 
  • Indicate whether review summary is required 
  • Upload your own rating images or use default ones (stars) 
  • Indicate whether you wish sorting menu to be displayed 
  • Set review page Friendly URL, TITLE 
  • Set default review per page number 
  • Set reviews default sorting option

Front office:

  • Product rating can be displayed directly in product list (some core modifications are required) 
  • View product rating in number and in stars (or other administrator defined image).
  • Add review 
  • Rate product in different administrator defined rating types Name - required field; review title, comment - can be set as required fields via backoffice 
  • Review date is displayed in numbers and words (e.g. 2 hours ago) 
  • Sort reviews by date, rating or helpfullness (thumbs up, thumbs down) 
  • Select number of review to be displayed on one page 
  • View review in separate window




People are now looking for authoritative information generated by other users online, not in books or encyclopedias. Customers are using reviews more and more before deciding to make a purchase.
