Customer ratings are very important to convince other customers to buy in your Shop. But ratings also get more and more important for your Google ranking and such ratings are already shown next to the name of some Shops in organic search results.

But how to gain more and qualitative customer ratings?

This module sends automatic rating reminders to your customers and takes into account the date of shipment in order to leverage the best time to ask your customer for a rating or review. Further you can configure the maximum time allowed between invoicing and shipping of an order to avoid sending rating reminders to customers who probably experienced a longer waiting time for their order and hence to avoid bad ratings.

In the email templates you can make use of various Smarty-variables. Not only can you personalize the emails but you can also pre-populate some of the input fields of rating websites to reduce the amount of typing required by your customers.

 

An example could look like this: send a rating request 10 days after the order has been shipped if the time between invoicing (payment) and shipping of the order has not been longer than 3 days. In the email you could provide links to Idealo, Geizhals, TrustedShops, Facebook and other web pages and if a customer clicks on one of the provided links the following information should be pre-populated to save your customer some time and increase the chance he submits a rating: order id, name, email address, day of purchase, etc.
