Starter Pack Main Features

Prestashop Module Enhanced Pack Products

The Pack feature offers a way to use the products to pack as if they were "ingredients" (products) to create a recipe that would be the Pack. The Pack (recipe) would be a combination of various products in different quantities.

Description

1. This module allows you to have a correct view of the stock level of Pack products
2. The shop will automatically calculate the stock level for a pack product based on the amount of available products.
3. Never will allow a product to be sold if not available in stock
4. It automatically checks inventory levels of Pack products as well as standard products every time you add items to cart
5. When using a pack product, the product quantity is based on sub-products quantity. If sub_product_1 has 10 in stock and sub_product_2 has 5 in stock, then, the Pack product will display 5 in stock.

The Pack feature works well in Prestashop only when there are enough products in stock. Consider a Pack product (Y) that consists of 10 times product (x); and that the following stock levels exist:
x = 1
y = 10

Which means a customer can still proceed to buy 10 Pack product (Y) even though the x product will be set to zero (a stock error off 99 "x").
