Purchasing : Supply needs
To assist manager in purchase decisions, a new supply needs screen is added : this new page summarizes every products that need to be purchased. 2 reasons can raise a supply need :
- If product has been back ordered (order without stock)
- If product stock level is below prefered stock level (prefered stock level can be set in product sheet)
You can sort / filter product per manufacturer, supplier and also supply status. Then, tick every products you want to purchase, adjust quantity for each product and with 2 clicks, create a new purchase order.
Once a supply need has been added to a purchase order, its status becomes "waiting for delivery" until purchase order delivery is created and product comes back to stock : at this time, product is removed from supply needs.
Purchasing : Purchase Orders
You can create a purchase from scratch or from supply needs. Once all products are added to the PO, you can set tax rates, quantity and buy price. Then, you can print a PDF with all PO information and easily send an email to your supplier with the PO PDF in attachment.
Once purchase order is sent to your supplier, supply needs are pre validated and the estimated date of delivery is displayed on the front side to inform your customers
Once products are delivered in your warehouse, simply declares deliveries from the purchase order screen : stock movements are created and product stock level is increased.
Order fulfillment
ERP for prestashop adds a new tab under orders tab to easily and massively fulfill orders
First, ERP dispatch orders in 3 tabs :
- Full stock tab : contains orders that can be completely ship, all products are in stock
- Stockless tab : contains orders having at least 1 missing product
- Ignored orders : contains orders that are not paid
Next, you can print the picking list : it is a PDF document that summarizes all products you need to collect to fulfill selected orders. This PDF displays product quantity, name, sku, manufacturer and location for a more efficient picking. Once all products are collected, you are ready to pack !
To perform packing, download one PDF merging all packing slip / invoices and send orders information to shipping carriers (colissimo, TNT, UPS ...) to print shipping labels. The you are ready to pack products and paste the shipping label
